Farras and Aden first met in 2014 at their university, in the same major and year group. Initially, they were complete strangers until they became involved in some journalistic activities together, which brought them closer.

In 2018, they were forced to start a long-distance relationship as Aden moved to Jakarta to pursue a career. Not long after, they decided to end their relationship and went their separate ways.

They started communicating again in 2021 after the COVID-19 pandemic subsided. In 2022, they then committed to a more serious relationship and planned to get married after Farras finished her master program.
